Ben Ewart
As a serving Chief Inspector I have over 20 years service with two of the largest forces in the UK, undertaking a variety of operational, Detective and senior leadership roles, in addition to working for a number or years with bselected as an assessment and selection consultant. I also hold an MSc in Strategic Leadership & Change and have graduated from a number of College of Policing and external leadership programmes.
I am passionate about helping people ‘b’ the best they can be and truly believe bselected delivers this in a highly effective and no-nonsense manner, drawing on years of experience across a team of assessment and selection professionals.

I have over twenty years experience in senior management, leadership and director level positions working in in the pharmaceutical, recruitment and FMCG industries with large companies such as Kelloggs, Kraft Foods, Boots Pharmaceuticals and BASF Pharma. I was a founding Director of the Pharma recruitment agency North 51.
I’ve designed and implemented many selection processes and interviewed thousands of job candidates, giving me unrivalled insight and experience into what employers are really looking for when recruiting. In short, I know what makes the difference between success and failure when being interviewed.
I understand what works well and just as importantly what does not when attempting to secure roles in a corporate environment. I have a real passion for developing people and this drives me to help individuals to realise their career aspirations.
David Moffat
I recently retired from Police Scotland as a Superintendent after 30 years service. I performed a variety of roles throughout my career including many operational and investigation positions, in addition to national training roles.
During the latter part of my career I was National Project lead on Police recruitment, training and selection, including the Police Scotland promotion process. I have been involved in a substantial number of promotion processes as a candidate, a panel assessor and chair, and appeals assessor. I have coached officers at various ranks over the past ten years to achieve promotion success, many who had previously failed.
I have a keen interest in how organisations identify and select for promotion and am passionate about helping officers fulfil their potential and achieve promotion success.
Rob Miller
I am a commercially focused Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Associated Fellow of the British Psychological Society.
My management experience spans the corporate, SME and public sectors; and I have spent the last 13 years focusing on improving individual and organisational performance in a consultancy role as Director of Business Psychology.
My specialist areas of practice include the design and development of competency frameworks, assessment & selection, personal/career development and management/leadership development (including the design and delivery of development centres).
Jane Murphy
I am a fully qualified MCIPD professional with over 10 years’ experience in Human Resources. Throughout my career I have worked in innovative businesses and big blue chip FMCG companies.
I’ve worked alongside and been a business partner to a number of leadership teams in a range of functions including Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics, Global Corporate functions, Marketing and Sales.
I understand how both large and smaller organisations work. I know how to develop them to become performance driven and values led. My aim is to enable people to always be at their best, to unlock their potential and support them to reach their career ambitions.
